I noticed that none of my recipes on IFTTT were public (= “shared”), all were private (= “personal”).

So I thought I’d “share” some of my “personal” recipes. When I did that, they seemed to be copied from the “personal” list to the “shared” list. So now they appeared in both lists.

I found that confusing and started deleting my personal recipes. But now the question arises: do “my shared recipes” still work for me even if I don’t have a “personal” copy of them?

I’m afraid the answer is “no”.
