Hello! I’m Jos, and I specialise in unlocking new markets. With a background in journalism, digital publishing, and strategic communications, I bring a rare blend of skills and insights to help Nordic companies explore and expand in mainland Europe.

My journey began in the Netherlands, where I trained and worked as a journalist, covering business, technology, and international affairs. After relocating to Finland, I continued to build on my experience in online publishing, first at Talentum Group and then in Nokia’s global communications team, managing business news on a global scale.

In the past decade, I’ve channelled my experience into running the marketing and communication agency Cluetail, with my wife and co-founder Minna Ojamies. This entrepreneurial path has allowed me to serve Finnish and Dutch clients with digital marketing, content creation, and strategic communication, offering tailored solutions that drive results.

I am also exploring the possibility of offering coaching services in the future. During my time at Nokia, I attended internal training on coaching, which I found energizing and effective. The coaching techniques, which emphasize asking the right questions and delving deeply into issues, resonate with my background in journalism. Although I am not a certified coach, I have since applied these techniques in my interactions with colleagues and clients. Coaching will focus on supporting individuals and teams in their professional growth, enhancing their skills, and navigating various challenges.
